About This Site and the Person Who Built It
This site exists to answer one question — what type of person are you — and then get out of the way.
Who runs it
My name is Vikram Shetty. I built TrueTst, the free test site this page links to, and I built this one alongside it because the question deserved a page rather than a redirect.
I am not a psychologist and this site never claims otherwise. What I know is the other half of it: what people do with a personality result, which ones they screenshot, and which ones they quietly close. That is the part I write about here (and it is a more interesting subject than it sounds).
What the test actually is
You type your first name, you get a type back, it takes about ten seconds. It is a mirror, not a measurement, and the honest limits are written on the home page rather than buried in a footnote.
If you want a validated score, take a Big Five questionnaire instead. I say so on every page that mentions it, because a test that oversells itself is worse than no test.
Three rules this site follows
- No account, ever. No email field, no password, nothing to cancel.
- No pretending. Where a claim is entertainment, the page says so.
- No dark patterns. One button, and it goes where it says it goes.
Where the background reading comes from
Anything on this site about the Big Five, Myers-Briggs or the Enneagram is checked against published sources rather than other quiz pages. The guide to personality types lists the four systems and links each one to its source.
Found something wrong? Tell me and it gets fixed, with the updated date changed so you can see it happened.
