Privacy Policy
Short version: this site does not ask you for anything, so there is not much to collect.
What this site collects
No account, no email field, no login. There is nothing on whattypeofpersonareyou.com that asks you to identify yourself, and nothing here that stores a name you type elsewhere.
Your browser sends standard request information to the web host when a page loads, the same as it does on every site you visit.
This site also runs Google Analytics, which records anonymous usage data: which pages get read, roughly where in the world readers are, and which site sent them. It is used to see which posts are worth writing more of. It is not used to identify anyone, and nothing collected is sold or shared.
Cookies and third-party scripts
This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell one visit from another, and loads its script from googletagmanager.com. That is the only third-party request any page makes.
Everything else — every image, the stylesheet, the fonts — is served from this domain or from your own device. If you block analytics at the browser level, every page still works exactly as it did.
You can opt out across all sites with Google's official opt-out add-on, or by blocking third-party scripts in your browser. Neither breaks anything here.
When you click through to the test
The button on this site sends you to TrueTst, which is a separate site with its own privacy policy. Once you are there, their terms apply rather than these. Read theirs before typing your name, the same way you should read this one.
Children
Nothing here is aimed at children and nothing here collects information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
Analytics were added on 4 September 2026, and this page was rewritten the same day to say so. If anything else changes, the same thing happens again and the updated date at the top moves. That date is the thing to check.
